Thermally induced bending |
|
Thermally induced bending describes another technique used by Laser Services to realise objects designed for window displays. For this process the plastic material needs to be heated along the line along which it is to be bent – exactly up to the temperature required for the material to reach plastification. Once this has been achieved the plastic material can be bent, whereupon it is left to cool and to set in its new shape.
